Our beeswax taper candle gift set was created with this in mind. It is not just a candle, but a collection of thoughtfully sourced and handmade elements, each contributing to a simple and meaningful ritual.

Australian Beeswax, Carefully Sourced

Each candle begins with pure Australian beeswax, sourced from trusted local apiaries including Bee Happy Apiaries and Bee Chillin Honey. These small businesses have worked with bees for many years, and their dedication to quality and care is reflected in every batch of wax.

Beeswax is a natural material, created through the quiet and continuous work of bees gathering nectar and pollen. When poured into candles, it offers a soft golden glow and a gentle honey aroma — something that feels both grounding and comforting in the home.

Each taper candle is hand-poured in small batches and finished with a cotton wick for a clean, steady burn.

Handmade Ceramic Candle Holders

The ceramic candle holders in this set are created by my friend and ceramic artist, Susan Fahd. Each piece is formed from clay and fired with a white glaze, resulting in a simple, timeless design that complements the natural tones of beeswax.

No two pieces are exactly the same. Each holder carries the subtle variations that come from being shaped by hand, adding to the character and uniqueness of the set.

Designed to be both beautiful and practical, they are durable enough for everyday use while still feeling special enough for a thoughtfully set table.

A Reusable Silk Gift Bag

To bring everything together, each set is presented in a handmade silk gift bag, sewn by Louise, from fabric sourced from Momo in Japan. These fabrics are chosen for their quality and beauty, and each bag is designed to be reused — whether for storing candles, holding small items, or simply kept as something lovely.

This final element completes the set, turning it into a gift that feels considered from beginning to end.
